Beverly is the former West Coast editor of House Beautiful Magazine and has a special interest in mid-century modern architecture. She was recently invited to join the Palm Springs Modernism Committee on a trip to Cuba and ordered this shift in the 'Old Vine' seersucker to take along for the journey. Here’s why: 'I like that you chose seersuckers in atypical colors. Yours are Real California Colors not Southern Belle or New England Prep. Blue would have been so Brooks Brothers. 'A dapper male decorator friend of mine (who is also going to Cuba) was so happy to find a seersucker suit in chocolate brown stripe, which looks stylish yet retro. Now I'll be part of the trend! 'By the way, my Russian River Shift (from Summer 2013) consistently gets more compliments than anything else I own, even from complete strangers.'
