What did you find in your shoe this morning?

December 6th is the feast day of Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of children, which appropriately falls during the Advent season. One of the old Christian traditions surrounding his feast day is for kids to leave their Christmas wish lists tucked into shoes and left overnight on December 5th in front of the fireplace, on the windowsill, or outside their bedroom door so that St. Nicholas can fill them with special fruits, candies, and other small gifts and treats. You can channel your own inner Saint Nicholas by ordering A Smock in 'Autumn Blossom', a highlight of the FW/17 collection. This is one of my favorite dresses; I wear it often, all year round, and especially during the Holidays. Also available in 'Hoarfrost', 'Icicle', and 'Winter Blooms'. Wishing you great fun during this Merry Month! Andrea
